Where? In Finland the best would be Tavastia in Helsinki. The capacity is only about 700, so it's a bit small for Mew, though.

My living room could fit a few of the band members - the rest would have to go in the kitchen. Although, saying that, if we take down the washing line, everyone could fit in the back garden quite comfortably...

Well Kasper, you guys just need to come to Sweden this tour, so why not come to my hometown in Linköping? We have both big and small venues. For example:
Big arena, The Cloetta Centre which is Swedens third biggest, and have a kapacity from 1000 up to 11500 people with an area of 2150 m2. Read more at http://www.cloettacenter.se/
Small venue, Konsert & Kongress which takes 200 up to 1200 people, depending on which premises you choose. Or why not Globenteatern, which is a beautiful old fashion theatre, placed in the heart of Linköping city.
We have much more than this, and if you are interested to come to Linköping, please contact me at helena.s.filipsson@gmail.com, and I can give you a helping hand.
Lots of love from Linköping / Helena

Ooh, and you can have a concert outdoor nearby the water in a really nice environment with lots of greenery all around. :) It drew about 11.000 people last year, when Lars Winnerbäck had a summerconcert there.

Lyon/France
Le Transbordeur (450 to 1500 people)
La Halle Tony Garnier (700 000 people)
I prefer Le Transbordeur but ...

In Los Angeles...
The performance at El Rey was the best. Troubadour was second. Fonda theatre sucks ass and please don't perform there again. The Wiltern is a wonderful venue--maybe too big? if you perform in LA again please please perform at El Rey. It is the best!

Come back to Richard's on Richards in Vancouver! Sound is much better there than The Commodore Ballroom in my opinion, plus there aren't any meathead security guards blocking my view of the band.

The Orpheum is quite nice too, and Mew haven't played there before.

Maybe come to Melbourne Australia!!! Come play the Northcote Social Club! Capacity is 300, which shouldn't be too small if you're in Australia... Or you could play The Corner Hotel or Prince Bandroom, or somewhere even bigger like The Palace... I'll stop here, and I'll just hope with all my might that you come ANYWHERE in Melbourne... :D Love~~~~~~~

Any plan to have a gig in Indonesia?

In Jakarta you should play in Sentul Convention Center. It recently used by Jamiroquai and it is brand new. You could some of the picture in http://www.flickr.com/photos/hermon_research/2862275953/
It is said to be the biggest hall in SE Asia

And if you want to play in Malang too (woo, my hometown) then UMM Dome is a good venue. Many Indonesian and foreign artist (Killswitch Engage) have played there before. You can check it in ummdome.multiply.com.
Its not a great place, but it was the best so far.

Paradiso in Amsterdam. Beautiful venue, used to be a church. Nice atmosphere. And else just play Melkweg again, I'll be there anyway :)

for detroit, i would suggest royal oak music theatre. I have been to 2 shows there and it would be the ideal venue to see Mew in concert. In my opinion, its the perfect venue for more well known indie bands.

For a show in detroit, I would strongly recommend the Royal Oak Music Theatre. Its a decent size, and in my opinion is the perfect venue for more well known indie bands.

Its a great place and I hope you consider it!
